Past Builds

Crazy little keyboard from Bontempi, lots of glitched up breakcore drum loops and low down bitcrushed drones.
Crusty 8-bit drum samples in this one. Comes with pitch control, distortion controls, and a drill loop effect.
Basic little drum pad thing with a keyboard that doesn't quite make sense. Good creaky sound effects though!
Prime targets for bending, the SA21 and SA35 give glitches that will surprise for years on end. Added glitch controls, pitch and LFO, and a feedback distortion mod.
Sci-fi voice changer toy turned into a ghetto distortion/pitchshifter/oscillator unit, capable of a flange effect like you've never heard before!
Fun drum pad toy with pitch control and stacks of distortion.
Another Early Learning Centre drone machine. Pitch control and distortion section to tweak the sounds, and an additional ring modulator circuit that can work with the the keyboard's tones or external signals.
These are great... seemed like it was going to be such a simple device on the face of it, but loved the results out of it - you can set the controls and leave it randomly glitching away for ages! Also comes with sound shaping distortion controls and performance enhancing touch points.
Heavily bent beast of a machine! The original device has an analogue core, and beefed up with things such as the modified distortion, separated voltage starves and instrument hold switches, this is capable of some serious noise.
Great fun to play, this one gives top glitchy noise and 8 bit drones. And it's in stereo!
The second design of this well-known bending target. Already pretty chunky sounding, and modified to add hidden pattern access, pitch control, light sensor and a heavy sounding distortion section. Can also be used to effect external signals.
The Texas Instruments classic machine, bent that bit further than most, featuring multiple glitch switches, FM based distortions, a loop section, and an LFO to modulate the pitch.

The Texas Instruments classic machine, bent that bit further than most, featuring multiple glitch switches, FM based distortions, a loop section, and an LFO to modulate the pitch.
This is a trickier one to bend than the traditional Speak & x range. Still got quite a few decent glitches out of it though! Also a couple of nice distortions, and dropped in an LTC for the pitch control.
Another classic VTech toy, circuit bent for the noisy randomness. Cute, simple, glitchy. Always got a soft spot for these!
Just a small little toy, but turned out surprisingly versatile! Bit of a mission fitting all the circuit bent additions inside, but managed to get a good control layout for this instrument. Comes with distortions, voltage drop, pitch control, and a sneaky loop switch.
The second incarnation of this device, with a honed glitch section to be easier to use but have more options, added an LTC for pitchability, and a brand new distortion section to further shape the sounds. Awesome glitchy tones and loops come out of this machine.
As with many of the more complex VTech devices, this one's full of glitches! Comes with an overdrive and a sneaky 555 based timestretch modification.
Cute little purple shaped anomaly. Capable of serious glitches and dirty analogue sync tones via the distortion. A firm favourite!
An older squarewave based Yamaha keyboard... once circuit bent, this little creature comes up trumps with some messed up 8 bit style glitch loops and patterns!
